Ba-Jinia

born 13. June 2009,  14. August 2009

by Cheetano and La Gomera by Tin Rocco

Holstein

During the early afternoon La Gomera foaled her first foal. A really beautiful, very characterised by thoroughbred unicoloured brown filly with a noble head. We were enthusistic! 3 fantastic basic gaits and a lot of charisma. A little tomboy, who was keeping her mom on the go, favourite pastime was racing. She should stay here for breeding. The tragic fate: The filly was euthanised at the university hospital of Hanover. There were an encapsulated and hidden abscess at the backbone which couldn't be visible at the X-rays. First at a CT the broken vertebra could be viewed. No clinical symptoms - a minor lameness and later a paralysis of one behind leg. Neither the constant efforts nor the the care of the university hospital of Hanover couldn't save her life.

Ancestry: The sire Cheetano by Coriano and Korbett by Capitol II-Lord Calando-Cabinett was 1. Vice-Champion of the Stallion Licensing of Holstein in 2002. He could convince with his really outstanding free-jumping during the licensing, he is perfect in technique and potential. Additional he has 3 active and outstanding basic gaits. A powerful type of the special class with a good construction and excellent top-line.

After the licensing he was at the stallion stud of Zweibrücken for 2 years, where he got the qualification of the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. After a bad injury he couldn't start again in jumping competitions and since 2007 he is back to the Holsteiner Verband.

In Zweibrücken Cheetano has had a lot of fantastic foals, which are very good riding-horses in the meantime. In 2005 a filly by Cheetano was champion of the foals in Zweibrücken. In 2008 this mare Coco was 3. placed of the free-jumping competition in Zweibrücken and additional Champion Mare of the 3 years old mares in 2008. And in October 2008 during the licensing the stallion Cheetano's Boy got a premium.

His sire Coriano, a son of the great Corrado I, was very successful in international jumping competitions until the highest level and he has a lot of offspring with the same successes. During the Olympic Games 2008 in Hongkong 2 offspring were participants, Chinobamba Lavita-MEX and Coertis- CHN.

The sire of the dam of Cheetano, Capitol II is full-brother of Capitol I, one of the best stallions of Holstein. Capitol II covered only a few and was licensed for Holstein very late.

The grandma is Eleve by Lord Calando, the maternal half-brother to the excellent sire Carthago, who was also a very successful international jumping horse. Lord Calando is also sire of the licensed Lux Z, who was winner of some important Grand Prixs and participant of the Olympic Games 2000 in Sydney with Jerry Smit-ITA. The dam Eleve is also dam of Acardi by Acord II, the Champion of the Licensing of Rheinland-Pfalz and additional Eleve is half-sister of the licensed stallion Edelmann by Exorbitant xx.

The mareline 18a2 is one of the greatest and most successful lines of Holstein. It's the line of a lot of licensed stallions and sport-horses like a.o. C- Trenton, Calvadur, Cascadeur, Chambertin, Chamonix, Classiker, Clinsmann, Lennon, Leonardo I and II, Littlefield, Marmor, Napels, Quidado and more and more.

A pedigree with a lot of excellent ancestry and an ideal combination of the best marelines of Holstein, 776 and 18a2.
