She is the 2nd daughter of Que Belleza. Chouchou shows an outstanding free-jumping with a lot of care and potential. During the schooling she has a good rideability with an excellent character. But after longer schooling and after a x-ray examination the result was that she has had a bad accident when she was a foal. The spine of the neck was complete broken! It seems that this fracture could be healed because the muscles of the neck could stabilise the fracture. We have never noticed anything. First the working under the rider showed the defect because the ossification of the fracture gave pain. Regarding this diagnosis it isn't possible to use Chouchou longer as a riding horse. Therefore she was sold to Sweden for breeding. The son of her Magic Socks is now for schooling in the stable of Ingrid Klimke and therefore his Austrian owners have bought Chouchou back for breeding.
Ancestry: The sire Cash and Carry is a son of Cash, who was successful in the international jumping level with Hugo Simon. The dam of Cash and Carry, Balia (FN Name: La Price S), was successful in show jumping, the granddam Scarlett Royal until the level 1,35m. Cash and Carry attracted attention in the jumping during the Stallion Licensing in Holstein. He has obtained the highest price during the enclosed auction of the licensed stallions with 300.000,00 DM, the Lassergut Farm-USA sold him. The Holsteiner Verband leased him for 3 years and he has got a lot of premium foals and the licensed stallions Contino and Common Sense. After that he was in the international show jumping circle for a short time with Eric Navet. Unfortunately his career was stopped through a bad accident, and the career as stallion started again, now at the Moosbachhof of Austria. Cash is a son of the full-sister of Landgraf I named Landgräfin. Landgräfin was successful in international jumping competitions until 1,60m with Hugo Simon. The dam of Cash and Carry is a daughter of Landgraf I. Chouchou cannot deny the in-breeding to Landgraf I.
Meanwhile the offspring of Cash and Carry is in the fore more and more. In the estimation of the breeding value of Holstein of 2006 Cash and Carry appears first time in the foreground and in 2007 and 2008 with a value of 124. The offspring shows an excellent movement, a great jumping potential, an excellent rideability and they are very noble. At the spring auction 2007 in Holstein a daughter of Cash and Carry was sold for 90.000,00 € to Czechia and the most expensive horse of the autumn auction 2008 in Holstein was again a son of Cash and Carry. He was sold for 97.000,00 €.
Own Performance: Since the weaning of her foal Chouchou was in schooling. Chouchou showed an outstanding free-jumping with a lot of care and potential and a good rideability. She has a lot of engagement with a lot of enthusiasm - she is really a freak! Additional she showed a good movement under the rider.
